Same-day BLS & ALS provider course 

***This course uses the updated 2020 curriculum***

This BLS & ALS Same-day Combo Course is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be a team member and a Team Leader in an in-hospital or out-of-hospital setting. Due to the number of advanced scenarios, this course is designed for renewal BLS & ALS students. ALS is geared toward healthcare professionals who direct or participate in managing cardiopulmonary arrest, other cardiovascular emergencies, or emergency response personnel.

What does this course teach?

• Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
• Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
• Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
• Airway management
• Related pharmacology
• Management of ACS and stroke
• Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

 Please sign up for the Initial Red Cross ALS and BLS provider course if you do not have current or unexpired AHA or Red Cross BLS & ACLS Provider card(s).

Course length:

4-8 Hours (Depending on the number & experience of students)

Course completion certificate:

An American Red Cross BLS & ACLS Provider certificate* (valid for 2 years).

*BLS & ACLS provider cards are in E-Card format. 

Provider E-cards are provided within 24 hours from course completion.
