American Red Cross
First Aid CPR AED w/ Bloodborne Pathogens
***This CPR course uses the updated 2020 AHA & ARC curriculum***
The First Aid course with Bloodborne Pathogens is intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for a job or other requirements (e.g., OSHA). These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students the critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. It uses the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, allowing instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide their learning skills.
Course highlights the importance of:
- Adult CPR and AED Use
- Opioid-associated Life-threatening Emergencies
- Child CPR and AED Use
- Infant CPR
- Choking in an Adult, Child, or Infant
- First Aid Basics
- Epi-Pen
This course can meet all requirements for OSHA.
