HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support Blended Provider course
***This CPR course uses the updated 2020 AHA curriculum***
HeartCode PALS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s PALS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace.
Due to the intensive and fast-paced skills session, this format is not suggested for first-time students.
To obtain an AHA course completion card, all students must complete the HeartCode PALS online and a hands-on skills session.
This course is the AHA PALS Hands-On Skills Session Only (Part 2).
You must complete the AHA PALS HeartCode online session (Part 1).

Your Heartcode Part 1 certificate must be dated no more than 60 days before your skills session and presented at the start. Otherwise, you will be required to reschedule.
What does this course teach?
- Basic life support skills, including effective Pediatric chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Includes realistic clinical scenarios that encourage active participation – delivered through actual pediatric patient videos and lifelike simulations
- Comprehensive and includes our systematic approach to assessing and treating pediatric patients in emergencies
- Hands-on class format to reinforce skills proficiency
***Attendance does NOT renew your BLS Provider certification***
This American Heart Association (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support course satisfies initial (first-time) & renewal (returning) students.
Course length:
1-2 Hours (Depending on the number & experience of students)
Course completion certificate:
An American Heart Association PALS Provider certificate* (valid for 2 years).
*PALS provider cards are in E-Card format.
Provider E-cards are provided within 24 hours from course completion.
A $30 Rescheduling or late fee applies to all students who are late or miss a scheduled class.
You must bring your completed AHA PALS Heartcode certificate to class. If you arrive without the completed online part 1, you cannot complete your skills session and must reschedule*
If you add on a keycode, it can take up to 24 hours to receive the access key. Please plan accordingly.
