HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support Blended Provider course

This American Heart Association (ACLS) Advanced Life Support course satisfies initial (first-time) & renewal (returning) students.
HeartCode ACLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the ACLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace.
ACLS is an advanced course that builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills. It emphasizes the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR and high-performance team dynamics.
Due to the intensive and fast-paced skills session, this format is not suggested for first-time students.
Providers must complete the HeartCode ACLS online and a hands-on skills session to obtain an AHA course completion card.
This is the AHA ACLS Hands-On Skills Session Only (Part 2).
You must complete the AHA ACLS HeartCode online session (Part 1).

Your Heartcode Part 1 certificate must be dated no more than 60 days before your skills session and presented at the start. Otherwise, you will be required to reschedule.
What does this course teach?
- Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
***Attendance does NOT renew your BLS Provider certification***
Course length:
1-2 Hours (Depending on the number & experience of students)
Course completion certificate:
An American Heart Association ACLS Provider certificate* (valid for 2 years).
*ACLS provider cards are in E-Card format.
Provider E-cards are provided within 24 hours from course completion.
A $30 Rescheduling or late fee applies to all students who are late or miss a scheduled class.
You must bring your completed AHA BLS Heartcode certificate to class. If you arrive without the completed online part 1, you cannot complete your skills session and must reschedule (fee applies).
If you add on a keycode, it can take up to 24 hours to receive the access key. Please plan accordingly.
