Same-day BLS & ACLS provider course

This BLS & ACLS Same-day Combo Course is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be a team member and a Team Leader in an in-hospital or out-of-hospital setting. Due to the number of advanced scenarios, this course is designed for renewal BLS & ACLS students. ACLS is geared toward healthcare professionals who direct or participate in managing cardiopulmonary arrest, other cardiovascular emergencies, or emergency response personnel.
What does this course teach?
- Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
The ACLS course requires completing pre-course work (pretest AND precourse videos). Full details of precourse work are included in your confirmation email after registration. Please email the Certificates and BLS provider cards to Info@cprxpress.com before the course date to avoid rescheduling*.
NOTE: If you do not have current or unexpired AHA or Red Cross BLS and AHA(only) ACLS Provider card(s) or pre course work at class, you must reschedule with a rescheduling* fee.
Course length:
4-8 Hours (Depending on the number & experience of students)
Course completion certificate:
An American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Provider certificate* (valid for 2 years).
*BLS & ACLS provider cards are in E-Card format.
Provider E-cards are provided within 24 hours from course completion.
A $30 Rescheduling or late fee applies to all students who are late or miss a scheduled class.
(BLS) & (ACLS) PROVIDER CARDS CAN NOT BE EXPIRED TO ATTEND
American Heart Association Provider Manual Policy:
You must have this course's current 2020 Manual textbook or digital (E-Book) version. However, you do not need to purchase one if you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class.
